       Laser Hair Removal

You have heard about Laser Hair Removal!
You have read about Laser Hair Removal!
Now get the whole story.

You thread, you wax, you epilate your body hair. Each year you spend a huge sum of money to get rid of unwanted hair using these methods which are either short term or give partial results. They are painful and messy too. A permanent, painless and non invasive method of hair reduction is what has been desired for long and the technology is finally available with your expert Dermatologist.

It is time to say good bye to unwanted hair.

No unsightly body hair;   only hairless skin.
No waxing, no pain;   only a painfree experience.
No shaving, no cuts and bruises;   only smooth skin.
No chemical depilators, no electrolysis, no scarring;   only scar free, clear skin.

At the Esthetic Clinic, we offer a simple and permanent method of hair reduction using the Long pulse Nd YAG laser, and the super hair removal technique. The lasers produce a concentrated beam of light that attacks the hair roots and destroys it.

What is LASER?

Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation

Which are the lasers used at our clinic for permanent hair reduction?

    How do these lasers work?
  • The laser light is absorbed by the color pigment in the hair.
  • Energy is converted into heat.
  • Heat destroys the hair follicle.
  • Normally, hair removal lasers do not work on grey, white or golden hair, and on fine hair.       However, the latest super hair removal laser can work on these types of hair also.

Is it suitable for my skin?

How many treatments are required for long lasting hair reduction?

    HAIR GROWTH CYCLE

Every hair on the body goes through 3 basic stages : growth, rest and hair loss.
These phases repeatedly cycle. and the length of each cycle varies according to the location, and your own body chemistry. The laser is most effective on hair when it is in the growing phase.  Because at any given time only 1/3 of your hair is in the growing phase, you need multiple treatment sessions over several months to obtain maximal results.
