Dr Varad Saptarshi is a dynamic and skilled Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon, currently pursuing super speciality training in Facial Plastic & Cosmetic Surgery at Mumbai BKC. With a strong academic foundation and a keen interest in advancing surgical techniques, he brings a dynamic blend of expertise in maxillofacial trauma, reconstructive surgery, virtual surgical planning, and facial plastic surgical procedures.

His professional journey is marked by academic excellence and innovation, having secured top ranks throughout his undergraduate and postgraduate academic career and receiving awards at national and international medical conferences. Dr. Varad is also one of the few maxillofacial surgeons accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) as a BLS-ACLS (Cardiac Life support) Instructor, highlighting his proficiency in handling surgical emergencies and critical care scenarios.

Dr Varad’s research work has been published in high-impact international journals such as the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (JOMS) an American Journal. His dissertation on CAD/CAM splints in Mandibular (jaw) fracture management led to the development and copyrighting of a novel 3D-printed splint (MF-GORIF Splint), recognized by the Government of India.
