Can I get a new set of dentures in one day?

Ans. Yes, you can have premier and superior dentures fitting in the same day. These are called as same day dentures. Denture is a prosthesis devices designed to replace extracted and/or missing tooth. It is constructed in lab with synthetic materials. Normally denture construction takes 3 to 4 sitting and at least one or two week of time.

 But in case of same day dentures, teeth are set in the wax base, so that you can try-in and view the denture look, before it is processed in the acrylic base. If you want any changes, tell the dentist, he will correct it by than only and again try for the look. Once you try-in the wax base and approve the denture, it will immediately go for processing in the lab, and the final denture delivered in the same day. The same day dentures become necessity because when you look a tooth the jaw boon starts to reabsorb and recede  and cause damage to the nearby tooth and make it difficult to fit an implant, bridge or crown.
